Organized Travel With Lug
I'm a die hard fan of hard-shell suitcases for a variety of reasons. I managed to get my hands on the Propeller Wheelie 2 from a Canadian luggage company called "Lug" and I must admit I may have just been converted to a die hard soft-shell fan.
I trust hardshells for my travels because of their durability and ability to somewhat organize my clothing with their convenient dual sides, not to mention the majority of the time they are waterproof. However, I always seem to run into that one daunting problem that you've probably run into yourself, and that is; how am I going to get my book, hand cream or laptop without having to unload half of the articles from my suitcase? The Propeller Wheelie 2 seems to be the answer to all my prayers and then some. Equipped with two side pouches, similar to the kind you would have on a backpack, perfect for my water bottle and travel tripod. On the front of this piece, there are two large zipper pockets, I can actually fit my iPad and Chromebook into the front pocket. The second zipped pocket has several slots and pockets for items like chargers and toothbrushes.
“Organization done the right way.”
This is a suitcase that you can pack while it's standing upright, great for anyone that uses the rolling method for packing. If you use the folding method for packing than it can also be laid down on it's back for packing.
Just when you think there couldn't be any more benefits to this suitcase, that's when I say you're wrong. By far the handiest feature about the Propeller Wheelie Two is the phone pocket located on the front, equipped with a magnetic closure for easy access. I always travel with two phones (one phone is hard enough to keep track of.) This pocket is absolutely genius, and I'm not sure why all of the luggage brands haven't incorporated this into their carry-ons, it's now a must-have for me. "La pièce de résistance" is the water wicking fabric, this is a wonderful addition to protect electronics and clothing from getting wet while doing climate changing trips or just on a rainy day.
This is hands down my favorite carry-on piece that I own at the moment and would recommend it to any traveler looking to stay organized. You can view the Propeller Wheelie 2, as well as more luggage and travel accessories on the Lug website here.
